My TBI; Traumatic Brain Injury
I have an unfortunate story. I was living my best life when the end of July of 2022, I was in a horrible car accident. The accident caused me to have a very traumatic brain injury which caused me to have a stroke which caused me to have something called spasticity. Spasticity is geared towards the muscles. I have severe spasticity. It affected a lot of my limbs. For starters, I can’t walk. I’m bedridden. Also with the disability, my speech is very unclear. It’s hard to understand me but it’s not impossible so texting is my best friend
I have 2 kids. I was literally a single mom when my life got ripped apart. I lost guardianship bc I now live in a medical home and I can’t even physically do anything.
I was a casino dealer and casino table game supervisor at Delaware Park. I was also an extreme couponer. When I say extreme I mean extreme. I got tons of stuff for free. Everything from shampoos, toothbrushes, other bathroom items to laundry detergents, dryer sheets, fabric softeners, etc. Also I delivered packages for Amazon. I was omw to a shift when the accident happened.

I was in a not-at-fault accident. I was omw to work at approximately 4am. As I was making a turn at a green light, I was t-boned by this guy. He was speeding really fast and he ran a red light. I died in the accident. I was brought back to life by CPR by an out of state driver. He didn’t have any insurance so it all fell on my insurance. I had full coverage but I had the minimum PIP coverage so when I sued him, I got VERY very little. Plus he was a nobody so I couldn’t get anything out of him.
